If you’re a fan of Southeast Asian cuisine, Laksa King in Flemington should be on your list of places to try. I recently visited this restaurant with the family, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
To start off, we ordered some spring rolls, which were perfectly crispy and flavorful. But the real star of the show was the chicken curry laksa. The broth was rich and full of fresh, aromatic spices that tantalized our taste buds. And the level of heat was just right – enough to add some excitement to the dish without overwhelming our palates. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the chunks of chicken were tender and juicy.
We also ordered the Nasi Goreng rice, which was delicious in its own right. The prawns were large and plump, and the flavour was salty without being too overpowering. The black bean beef with rice noodles was another hit, with tender meat and a mild, smoky sauce that had us going back for seconds.
Last but not least, we tried the chicken fillet with basil Thai sauce. The dish was beautifully presented, with vibrant colours and a generous serving of crisp vegetables. The sauce was sweet and slightly tangy, making for a refreshing contrast to the other dishes we had.
One thing to note is that the restaurant can get quite loud, especially during peak hours. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the online ordering system made things very convenient for us. We were also impressed by the portion sizes – despite being full, we still had plenty of leftovers to take home.
All in all, our experience at Laksa King was top-notch. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. We left with happy, full stomachs and a desire to return for more. If you’re looking for a satisfying and flavourful meal, give Laksa King a try.
